Most people think that when winter comes around their shorts should go to the back of the closet unless you live in Miami Beach. Well, here's how to revamp your wardrobe to incorporate your once beloved summer shorts into your winter style. You can change the leggings, and jacket according to the weather where you live. For instance, if you live in the North Pole (Alaska, New York etc...) you wouldn't wear a sheer or lace leggings, it's only practically that you would wear a sweater leggings or leather (faux or real) whatever your preference may be. Nail Art

I've never been the one for fancy manicures, but after I've been on Pinterest scouting new ideas for my blog this week I was intrigued by the different types of nails that I discovered: Ombre, Magnetic, Marble, UV, Crackle, Metallic, Glitter, Foil you name it you probably can find it in a nail polish. I was in AWE to see the art that people are creating with nail polish some are short, sweet, and fun and others not so much (too way over the top for me). They make my nail polish looks boring. Having all 10 nails decked out with a different flower on each finger may not be my thing, but I will definitely try something like the ascending color from light to dark or vice versa. Most people (probably everybody looks forward to Friday), but I love Thursday nights. Why? You probably wondering. Well It's my husband and I date night. Thursday night is the night we take time out to catch up on each others busy schedule and life, or simply just spending time with each other. Sometimes we go to a five star restaurant, sometimes the movies, sometimes a cheap restaurant, or just simply for a walk on the riverfront. It is important to leave the blackberry (crackberry), iPhone, computers, and television and just spend time with each other without the distraction. We all know that they are the big distractions in our lives. So spend some quality time with your love ones (i.e. husband, boyfriend, girlfriend, daughter, son, mother etc...) and especially since the holidays season is right around the corner. Can you believe it's December already? My, oh my where did 2011 went. I'm so grateful to be home, and have my husband home this holiday season. Last year I spent: Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years, and almost a Birthday in Iraq. It was not easy it was the hardest, but the best year of my life. I've learnt a lot, and missed a lot. I commend my husband to the highest degree because I don't know how he did it three years in a row. Once was enough for me. So with that said, cherish, love, and appreciate your love ones.

I'm currently in the process of starting my blog. I've contemplated for a few months now on what I should blog about, and why I should blog. I'm currently a fashion student, and will be moving to LA soon, so I've decided to start blogging because most employers are looking for active bloggers. With so many blogs about fashion I don't want this to be another cliche blog about fashion. I will be bloggin' about fashion (of course), food, exercise, and my journey as a fashion student.
